What this covers
This policy covers mindgardenai.com, operated by MindGarden LLC. It does not cover sites this one links to, including github.com and u4a.ai, which have their own policies.
What is collected
Nothing, unless you send it. mindgardenai.com is a static site. There are no accounts, no registration, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking cookies. Nothing on the page profiles you, and nothing is loaded from a third party in order to render it — the images, the styles and the scripts are all served from this domain.
The one exception is the contact form. If you fill it in and submit it, the name, email address, organisation, role, topic and message you typed are sent to MindGarden LLC through Netlify Forms, which is the hosting provider for this site. That data is used to reply to you and for nothing else.
Cookies and local storage
No cookies are set by this site.
The site remembers one thing in your browser's local storage: whether you chose the light or the dark theme. That value never leaves your browser and is not sent anywhere. Clearing your site data removes it.
Server logs
The hosting provider, Netlify, keeps standard request logs — IP address, time, the page requested, the user agent — as any web server does. Those logs are retained and processed by Netlify under its own terms. MindGarden LLC does not build profiles from them and does not combine them with anything else.
What is shared
Nothing is sold, rented, or shared for marketing. The only third parties that touch data at all are:
- Netlify, which hosts the site, delivers it, and receives contact form submissions.
If a legal process required disclosure, MindGarden LLC would comply with it.
Retired services
Previous versions of this site referred to a hosted research platform at cloud.mindgardenai.com and to related experiments. Those services have been shut down. No accounts remain, and no user data from them is being processed.
Your choices
Because there is no account and no tracking, there is very little to exercise rights against. If you have sent a message through the contact form and want it deleted, ask and it will be deleted.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it. Material changes will be noted on this page rather than applied silently.
